Lowest Price Tree Service and Arbor Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through nycArborist.com, our forms, emails, and during the delivery of our commercial arborist services.
We collect information necessary to provide arborist consulting and compliance services, including:
Business & Contact Info: Company name, address, Tax ID, permits/licenses, names, roles, phone numbers, emails.
Project/Permit Data: Site addresses, maps, plans, DOB/NYCDPR application details, case/violation numbers, photos/videos, tree health data and notes.
Transaction Data: Services requested, invoices, payment confirmations (we do not store full card numbers).
Technical Data: Device, browser, IP address, and cookie/analytics data (see our Cookies Policy).
Communications: Emails, messages, signed service agreements and related attachments.
Legal bases (where applicable): performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in operating a professional service; compliance with legal obligations; your consent (for optional items).
We share only as needed to perform services or as required by law:
NYC Agencies: NYCDPR, DOB, DDC, and other municipal entities for permits, inspections, and violation resolution.
Service Providers/Subcontractors: Licensed arborists, planting crews, utility locators, nurseries, hosting and database vendors, payment processors.
Professional Advisors & Legal: Accountants, attorneys, insurers as appropriate.
Compliance/Safety: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your information for marketing.
Project and compliance records are retained for as long as needed for the engagement, regulatory requirements, warranty windows (e.g., 12-month planting warranty or until Parks sign-off), and reasonable business recordkeeping. We delete or de-identify data when no longer needed.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (account access controls, encryption in transit, limited employee access, logging). While no system is perfectly secure, we follow reasonable measures consistent with NY's SHIELD Act standards to protect personal information.
Access/Correction/Deletion: You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion where legally permissible.
Limit/Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
